Any ideas on the noises I'm hearing? Thought it was the belt, but the belt appears to be new, and it's not loose, nor are there any tears or anything. Then that humming/ buzzing sound I have no clue. Distributor maybe? Thanks for any input.
Noise could be from one part, try alternator first (at Advance or Autozone they should be able to test it out for FREE!) if it makes noise when tested then problem solved, if test is good no need to replace it unless test shows low voltage output, then try tensioner next but remember to get new belt also, because belt may be stretched! Is there also another idler pulley on your setup? Could be that too. Last resort is power steering pump, have had them go before on me. Hope you get it fixed, video sounds great tip you get up front.
Found out it's the p/s pump and pulley. Whoever put it on for the previous owner put the pulley on too far I was told. So I guess that's why it's causing both to act up. Not 100% sure on a fix yet as I'm gathering more info.
