Back working on the 69 Coupe again.

Now that my wife & I are all settled into our "retirement home" here in southwestern Virginia I am back working on the Mustang again. I am trying to finish up the wiring. I installed oil pressure & water temp senders & wired them into the AAW harness & made my final hookup from the ignition box to the harness completing the work under the hood. I also started hooking up the wiring to the taillights, back up lights & side lights.

This past week the weather cooled down to the low 70's & gave me more time in the garage to work on the Mustang. I finished up the wiring to the taillights, license plate light & the backup lights. All that is left is to wire up the fuel sender & the electric fuel pump. I also found a local guy about 1 1/2 hours away from me that is a former body & paint guy that paints cars at his house. I have gotten in touch with him & will probably be paintin the Mustang latter next year.

I ordered & received an fuel pump/sender O-Ring seal that I installed along with the pump/sender assembly today.

Yesterday I got the fuel tank installed & the last of the electrical done in the trunk to the electric fuel pump & the fuel sender.

Got the Mustang up on jack stands & started working on bending & fitting new fuel lines. Located the spot where I want the in-line fuel filter to be, driver's side rear floor pan by the frame rail.
