What's the average price for a 03 convertable top to be replaced if anyone knows would help I have 2 holes (getting bigger) under the rear window on the corners can they be patched any ideas?

You can get one off American Muscle for pretty cheap. $159.99. You can sometimes patch them, but I personally would just get a new top as to avoid future problems, or the tears/rips re-emerging.

on an 03 the rear window/top has to be replaced. My sister had this done via insurance, but still costs about 1300. It is a separate panel from the main top.

I would price out the cost of going to a cloth top instead of the vinyl.

If there's no damage done to the rear window, he can still re-use that. If the holes are in the top itself, he's better off just replacing the top instead of buying things that may not be needed.

I've been busy and haven't had time to reply to your PM.

Replacement parts for the top are the cheap part of the project. It's the install fee's that will scare you. Install is a PITA for sure but it's doable. I'll try and find the instructions I used when I did mine.

My top came out alright. There's a couple screw-ups that I can see but I also know they're there. I wouldn't want to do another one tho.
