Aerodynamics specialists APR Performance have released a new rendering of a custom widebody 2013 Ford Mustang that will make its debut at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas next month. The custom Mustang will feature a 10-piece body kit, which will widen the fenders by a modest two inches on each side, available as a complete package from APR. The SEMA show car will also boast other pieces from the APR not part of the kit including a carbon fiber front splitter, GT-250 rear wing and a rear diffuser. The Mustang will also feature a ProCharger centrifugal supercharger system, KW coilover suspension system, Stoptech brakes, MagnaFlow exhaust system and Sparco race seats.
This isn’t the first time that the APR Performance has developed a widebody kit for the Ford Mustang, as the company created a similar package for the first generation S197 Mustang back in 2008.
We’ll have more details on the widebody package and plenty of photos as part of our extensive SEMA coverage next month. Stay tuned…
