What is the best adjustable clutch quadrent to buy? UPR, BBK, FMS? And also, how hard are they to install. My pedal has some play in it on the top end and I don't like it. Will a cable and adjuster take care of this problem? New clutch, pressure plate and throw out installed 35,000 miles ago. I just bought the car, and according to receipts, it was installed about that many miles ago but, previous owner never sprung for the adj. quad. Any help/info accepted. Thanks.

I bought my car and it had a hd clutch installed. The stock cable was not right for the new clutch, it was hard to get into gear . I bought the one off florida5.0 on ebay. It took alomost a month to get the damn thing!!!! It is a three hook, which you will never need that third hook, i have mine on the second. The firewall adjuster is great, make sure you get one with that. So you can have adjustments easily on the firewall, you can also adjust the cable a little at the bottom. However the aftermarket cables that come with them are not as good of quality as factory. So what i did was i got the kit but i also went out an bought a OEM cable, which will work with the adjuster and quadrant. It is a PITA to put in, i didnt take my seat out and you prolly should, so i was upside down in the seat working over my head, it was one of the worst mods ive done. Taking off the old quadrant is a pain too, it has a bunch of little springs in it..... But ever since i added it the car is much more enjoyable to drive and shift...,
