93 gt wheel and tire question

What's the biggest wheel and tire I can put on my 93 gt without modifying the car? Anyone know if I can get foose wheels?

I don't think Foose makes 4 lug wheels. For the front, I wouldn't run a tire much wider than 245s or 255s or the tire might rub the fenderwells. Most people will say 17s look the best on the foxes, but some 18s look good too. The widest wheel would probably by 8 or 9 inch. For the rear, 275s might fit, but flipping the quad shocks and rolling the fender lips will likely have to be done to fit them. Some have ran 275s without having to do anything while other times work needs to be done to fit them. You should be able to run 255s without any issues, also depends on how close the tailpipes are to the wheels also.

thanks for the info. I think i'll be safe with 255/45 17's all the way around then. Any idea where i can find nice wheels that will be 4 lug? I guess i could also buy the conversion kit to do a 5 lug.

You can try looking at the wheel sections on 50resto.com and americanmuscle.com. The cheaper 5 lug conversion will only allow you to run about 6 to 7 different kinds of wheels because of the grease cap. Going with sn95 spindles, front brakes, and 5 lug rear axles would allow you to run a bigger variety of wheels. Check out the sites I mentioned first and see if any of them are to your liking.
