'66 mustang

just spotted this car on my street... sat around for long time, but now owner may be in need of some ca$h. it looks like an original 66 mustang. straight 6(200c.i.?), auto, paint is shot, dash has couple decent sized cracks, some rust bubbles and rear quarters replaced or repaired. otherwise looks pretty straight/clean.

i decided to just try and help with sale in hopes i might get a few bucks:D and help someone find the car they were looking for:rock:. don't know what it's worth but i do know what they're asking. can take pics if any serious parties out there.

they are asking $7000(ouch!) and if you ask me, this is complete restoration piece. i also 'know' what they might actually accept for the car, but i have no real idea of it's actual market value. i can take a couple pics and get phone number if you'd like.

Hey Joe,
I'm right off of the TSP in the Yorktown heights area. Any photos or info you can provide would be great. That said I have to ask what body style is this car? I don't want you to go through too much trouble, as It sounds like it might be priced too high(not meant as a put down ,but if it's a fixer upper 6 banger coupe,that's way too high). But you never know, I appreciate it. It never hurts to ask,if for some reason I did buy it,I'd throw you a fee for your time and trouble. Thanks

yup, thats exactly what she is. it's hardtop, and the COMPLETELY cracked paint is teal. it is def a resto/project car. no prob for me to snap few fotos today or tomorrow... i go by it every day.

between you and me, i told them 7k prob too much(just a hunch? ;)! and they kind of agreed. they say were offered 5000 and a driveway, but didn't accept, and i of course don't know if offer was even for real. i believe might entertain between 4 and 5k, but not sure.... who knows maybe they'd really take 3000 cash!
