Hi newbie here...Almost embarrassed to post this after i see what some of you are running but here it goes......
I bought this car used and have no idea everything thats been done to it.This is what i do know:
Stock headed 302
Crower enduro roller rockers, isky guide plates
Sounds like it has a larger cam in it
bbk 70mm throttle body
bbk cold air intake
Mass air conversion
Cobra computer xz3
Cobra mass air meter
trickflow intake with 2" spacer
bbk equal length headers, bbk h pipe to flowmasters
underdrive pullies(serp belts)
3:73 gears in 8.8 rear axle
Bbk lowering springs
bbk subframe connectors
So i ran it one time at 1/8 mile track
My short time was 2.4 sec!!!
Spun bad 1st and 2nd and my best was 9.2 around 75mph(first time racing a stick car,missed shifts,bad starts,i need practice bad..lol)
I know this car should run low 8's in a perfect world. This year im trying to decide between a paxton supercharger, nos or aluminum heads. From what ive read here my stock heads are killing me even if they have been worked.Im not trying to make this a drag car as i like driving it daily, just want it to run to its full potential.
