Since its birth in 2009, RTR*has rapidly become*one of the most popular automotive brand names worldwide with its wild project builds and aftermarket appearance and performance packages for the Ford Mustang. With Ford’s recent debut of the all new global 2015*Mustang, RTR has undoubtedly*raised the bar in the aftermarket world with their development of the*2015 Mustang RTR.

The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR will be available January 2015 through select Ford dealers worldwide with an optional Spec 1 package, focusing on appearance modifications, as well as a*Spec 2 package, which includes both appearance and performance upgrades. With up to 725 horsepower, the 2015 Mustang RTR is available with the 2.3 liter Ecoboost, V6, and 5.0 drivetrain.

Also new for 2015, RTR will offer a brand new line of appearance and performance parts, as well as three new styles of RTR wheels, all available exclusively at AmericanMuscle.com.

The appearance upgrades available to both the Spec 1 and Spec 2 packages include the following modifications:

  • RTR Spec 1 and Spec 2 chin spoiler
  • RTR rear spoiler
  • RTR rear diffuser with side splitters
  • RTR rocker splitters
  • RTR upper grill with integrated lighting
  • RTR lower grill
The performance upgrades listed below are available in addition to the appearance modifications to the Mustang RTR Spec 2 package:

  • Adjustable Dampers
  • Adjustable sway bars
  • Lowering springs
  • RTR exclusive exhaust system by Magnaflow
  • RTR custom tuning
  • Optional supercharger
  • RTR cold air intake system

Can't wait to see what the pricing is come January, I've been slowly piecing my 2014 together with RTR parts. :D

A 2015 Spec 2 RTR with 725hp looks and sounds awesome. Waiting to see the color combos offered. The black is too dark to see all the changes.

Found the announcement video, great to see the exhaust is similar, I love the note I have now with them.

if I'm not mistaken, a 2015 GT is now around $40K? imagine the price tag on this piece of work, not to mention the Roush (which btw is GORGEOUS). However, I do happen to like the integrated lights on the front grille, makes it more modern without the usual round lights on the grille (and Im usually opposed to switching things off something classic and with a well-known reputation)

I deem this car "sexy and possible future bucket list item" COURT ADJOURNED :smash: :smash: :smash:

Using the Ford "build and price" site, a base GT with 6-speed, performance pak and Recaros prices out @ $37K. Go for the GT Premium and it prices out around $39-40k. The current RTR package for 2011-2014's (suspension, wheels/tires, and aero stuff is around $10k shipped but not installed.
The old addage of "How fast do you want to go? How deep are your pockets?" applies here as well.
For myself, I'm really interested in the GT350 that will be out next year as a 2016. I figure that will go for around $50-52K (not including additionjal dealer markup). I would rather go for that than the higher end tuner Mustangs.

Just my $.02 :headbang:
