This is for cars that are already have aftermarket quadrant and firewall adjusters installed.
1st is the clutch pedal adjuster kit. The kit consist of just a little piece of metal, a bolt and a nut. It allows you to position the clutch pedal at the same height (over even lower) than the brake pedal. It decreases pedal travel by about half which is great for quick or power shifts and, in my opinion makes the car easier to drive. The kit is sold by Maximum Motorsports or Jegs and can be had for $25 shipped. The kit is somewhat easy to install the only bitch is getting to the pin that retains the clutch switch to the pedal.
This pic shows the clutch and brake pedals being even (same height)
2nd, is a spring that goes between the bellhousing and the clutch fork. What it does is take the slack away from the cable. Most people that run an aftermarket quadrant and firewall adjuster like the clutch to engage about half way in the pedal travel to do this the cable has to be set a little loose which gives you a little "play" at the top of the pedal travel. This spring takes away the slack giving you a firmer (but not heavier) pedal feel. There was a company that use to sell this as a kit, but I think they went out of business. What a did was go to homedepot and get a 4" spring with a 3/4" diameter and two copper tube reducer to use as a spring guide for a total of $5.00
here is a pic of what it looks like in my car
for about $30.00 you will have much improved (in my book) pedal feel. Hope this helps someone else.
