It's not a matter of price. I don't want to drive it with it open and blowing hot exhaust right next to fuel lines.

I'm looking for ideas on how to plug the o2 tube on an x pipe. The one that was on car was crimped closed. Going to thread bolt in, if anybody ever done it, do you remember the size bolt you used? Or any other suggestions on how to plug it that doesn't require welding would be appreciated. Thanks.

Talked tontech guy today, sounds like this one is a screw up and there shipping out a new one today. I hear what you are saying about cheap parts. But I've also fought with MAC and BBK headers that were suppose to be simple ons. I'll let you know in a couple of days when new one shows up.

Pipe is brand new. I'm going to send it back and go with different manufacturer before I start rewelding the bung. Just wanted to see if anybody had similar problem.

Last night I installed a summit racing O/R h pipe on my 89 GT with shorty headers. Install went pretty easy until I went to install 02 sensor on pass side. Bung is facing starter with no room for sensor to fit. Are these pipes that poorly designed or is mine just a screw up? I'm calling tech...

I'm taking the long tube headers that were on car when I got it off. Putting a set if Mac equal length shorties with a catted h pipe on. The previous owner hacked up lines that go from smog pump to h pipe. Can I just run a new hose from pump to h pipe air line w/o air diverter valve? Old set up...

I just bought a used style bar for my 89 GT conv. I don't know what brand it is and it didn't come with the instructions. I tried searching net but only found instructions for newer models. Anybody ever install one and still have instructions or know were to find them? Thanks

You can try jumping starter solenoid and see if it cranks

Is it a stick or auto? Did you disconnect neutral safety switch or any plugs under dash by steering column?
