Not a fan of C&L meters myself, always a pain to tune. That meter is not a blow thru meter.

You will either need to get a bypass valve or get a maf that will work with a blow thru setup if your going mass air. Once the meter has measured the air it can't be blown off to the atmosphere. If you want to keep a bov it must be before the maf.

Hook that vac line right to the upper intake if you can,if not the vac tree on the firewall will work. I assume you have a bypass instead of bov. If you check out the vortech instructions they show the orientation of the bypass to get it facing the right way.

80mm is not bad...the blower will put a very big smile on your face when you finally get to hammer it!

You can also covert to mass air pretty cheap. Get the computer and go to the wreckers and cut off the maf connector that you need and extend the 4 wires. You will have to move afew pins at the computer and your done.

You will be fine without a fmu. My setup is very close to yours (cobra intake,gt-40 head,tfs1 cam, vortech 11lbs) with no fmu I am at 77% injectors duty cycle. If your curious my put out 416rwhp at 11lbs. I am running a 90mm lightening maf which can be had cheap ($90) but I am close to pegging...
