    :)That '70 looks pretty good. I don't see any rot on the shock towers which could indicate not too much elsewhere. Looks like aftermarket a/c but don't see any sign of it inside the car.

    :)Nice Mach 1!!!! My advice sell the 65 coupe and use whatever money you get for it taking the 70 to shows and have some fun!!!!

    Wiring??

    :)When we did a total resto on a '641/2 convert we used all the original harnesses. We did a thorough cleaning and then carefully removed and replaced any missing, hardened or bad tape. While the tape is off it is very easy to check for defects in the wires and connectors. Everything worked...

    With that kind of restoration you can bet that it is correct. Look at the door gaps---way better that the factory on both this car and the mach 1.

    Storing a car away

    :)I have had summer cars for almost 40 years and I have never really done anything to them in the fall. They are only sitting for 4 or 5 months and they are machines. If you had no problems when you parked it then you should have none when you wake it up in the spring. Maybe I am just lucky...

    Smoking issue

    :DIMO you should fix the rear damage first and drive the car on the road--most likely the smoking will go away.
