deff sounds like the u joints had almost the same issue with my 87 exceept i did mine hitting a curb going bout 25. one of those things that gets easier to break if the parts seen some serious were and tear.

just like the title says anyone got a plenum, preferably a stock one for a 5.0 just took mine off to see it had a crack all the way around the front left bolt hole which is causing a huge vaccuum leak. if anyone does would great if i could get it from ya for pretty cheap, money is very tight...

im gonna say the sending unit might be bad due to it not being replaced in about 4 years, i'll try and go to thicker oil if thats not the case cause its gonna need both soon anyways. valve covers do leak some but i do have replacement ones that are ment for the year that are going to be held...

Oil pressure. I've had this problem for a while, not sure if its the oil pressure sending unit or something else i noticed that after the cars been driven for a bit and gets warmed up the oil pressure when its at low rpms is extemely low but thats according the gauge, which i really don't trust...

i was driving the stang around and noticed that when i was driving that there was a noticable tapping noise coming from the drivers side of the motor towards the top of the motor it seems to go away when i back off of the gas a little bit but the second i start to the accelerate some it comes...

The valve covers had vents on both covers I think it came out when my father in law pulled the plenum off and pulled the hose on the pcv and it must of come out then cause it started to leak the next day.

these covers are more the height of the stock ones already mocked them up under the hood and should clear the plenum vacuum tree

yeah already got a set of new valves and gaskets from latemodelresto.

it's all over the back half of the motor so im not sure if its burning off of the motor or the header/h pipe. i've got to replace the valve covers cause the plenum started to pierce the driver side do to the cover being to tall. just so many oil leaks hard to keep track of them all.

ok awesome just saved myself an ass load of money. just checkin cause i plugged it back in to place then took it for a spin noticed i was still smelling burning oil just figured that was some sitting on the motor or exhaust.

damn i wish i had 7500 to give ya, i would love to take this car off your hands. but to much money invested in the 5.0

ok so what i thought was a rear main seal leak i think turned out to be a pcv valve that had come off and was resting out of its mount on the back of the engine bay. just to make sure my assumption is correct if this were to come out could it cause oil to leak out on to the motor and drive train?

where abouts in fulton county are you?

looking to get some black bullitt rims preferably 17x8 for a fox with a 5 lug conversion. if anyone has some in good shape for cheap hit me up?
