Thanks for your help I had a feeling it was to good to be true. I got some more numbers off the block and found out it's a 1969 302 out of a Fairlane or Torino.

My friend checked some numbers on the block in my 67' mustang and told me he thinks this block is a 289 out of a 68 shelby. The number by the starter is C8OE. The other number he found is 1518A. When I bought the motor I was told it was a 302 did I really get lucky or just some bad info?
