All MT82 components (for the Ford Transit, Range Rover and now the Mustang as well as a few others) are MADE in England, but the ones for the Mustang are then assembled in China.

Not 26,000 affected, that's the number of 6MT Mustangs that have been built so far (including V6's).

Just to clear it up, the transmissions built in England and assembled in China. So really, it's the UK's fault. Mine's fine. I have the correct fluid in it now and it shifts beautifully. Nicest transmission I've driven. Light years better than my '00GT which felt like a dump truck.
