    honestly, in my experiance, there are tuners out there who do and do not know what they are doing regardless of whether they put your car on a dyno for a "custom" tune or do it via mail IMHO, going with a big name tuner like VMP or BAMA and one of their mail order tune will work out just fine...

    The plan changes yet again ...

    if i was you, i'd probably do a lightning 90mm MAF and then call up Modular Head Shop for some valve springs. as for the feul pump, i'm not too sure on that one

    Ok. Now on the cylinder with the wet plug, unhook that injector for that same cylinder and run the engine. If the engine runs the same, that injector may be bad. If it runs worse, then its something else. Let us know how it goes

    on my old 2 valve i gained 17 rwhp with kooks long tubes and catted x pipe, lost no ground clearance, no emmisions issues and gained about 30 ft/lbs of torque in the mid range. a friend of mine did shorties on a nearly identical car (motor wise) and gained like 3 rwhp. the gains are even bigger...

    Sounds like the bad seal was most likely the problem. Maybe you should check to see what kind of play a new PS pump has at a parts store before you buy one. It might just be the way they are

    i don't think there is a "pollution" pump on your car. can you take a pic? 1/8 inch sounds like too much. be sure to check all your idlers and tensioner too

    first swap the coils on one and six to other cylinders, like 2 and 8, and see if the misfire moves to those cylinders. if it does, its bad coils. if not, i could be injectors or something else. start there though. let us know what happens
