here are some photos of what i am taking about i think its the recoil spring that its called if its dried out it will tension on itself and not allow for the throttle body to reset

the one connected to the throttle body that wraps around it is that pulley for the flap is dried out the wire holds it open even if your not holding the pedal

check the wire if it's dried out the throttle will stay opened it happened to my intrepid before :mad:
