If you have the space to do it, invest in your own equipment to detail and it will be cheaper in the long run. May not look as great as some professional jobs, but it sure will be a lot cheaper. At the very least, you will want a decent dual orbiting buffer (I recommend a porter cable).

Yea, fbody is a bit on the heavy side, about 3500 give or take some lbs. Its okay, we fbody guys put ford inspired parts in our cars. More specifically, a rear end based off the of ford 9" design... I'll be getting one soon.. :D
