if its cable clutch check the quadrant,,my cable hits the side and makes a couple tinking noises up an down,maby take your cable off the fork and move it by hand,maby feel excesive play,,do u have a bearing retainer

spray then with some brake clean,some high performance pads will do that untill u warm them up at like highway speeds,did u try a different pad?

most likely,,ur fuel system might not be enuff either,unless u go carburated,,theres a tread in TECH section under 5.0 , i listed a fuel system for efi,plus wriing diagrams,also there is other good info,,,would u be doin carb or efi?
