What I found was for 02-04 and it was steering rack bushings causing the squeak. I think I will give that a try to see if it rids to squeaking going on. As far as the play/ wiggle in the steering wheel I dont know if tahts tie rods, ball joints, or the rack itself.

This is driving me insane! I dont want to drop a ton of dough if its just simply a set of bushings. I know for a fact that my driverside wheel hub needs to be replaced. Most likely going to do them both at the same time, makes sense doesnt it? This noise is getting constant and is really...

Ya I don't know whats going on with it! It is driving me nuts and sounds like crap. I'm sure it cant be safe to be driving like that. It's quite embarrassing to boot. Im hoping somebody will chime in that has gone through this before.

Mine does the same thing Cosmin. Started right after I install my SCT Tune the first time. Does it very intermittently, ever few months. I never payed too much attention to it because my tranny never felt or sounded bad. Good to know what it is now.
