It is your hard earned money. Spend it on what you want.

I've looked at both, both look amazing. Basically the same performance.
I knew mentioning it on here id get some comments! Im on the fence I just need reasons to get the mustang over the camaro. Convince me! lol

The 1LE is an absolutely fantastic car. If I were ever to get a Camaro that would be it (or a Z/28). That being said, I feel the 2015 is slightly more of a car. The interior is head and shoulders above the 1LE in terms of build quality and materials (although I do love the alcantara accents despite the fact that they are damn near impossible to keep clean). The Mustang wins out with visibility out of the car, the straight line performance is better on the Mustang and the 3.91s seem a bit steep on the 1LE and hurt it's performance there. The one place where the 1LE shines is on a road course due to its 285 Goodyear tires all around. I am 100% positive that with better and wider tires than the shitty Pirellis Ford puts on the PP cars the 2015 will beat it on the track. Ford has a tendancy to under tire these cars from the factory. I mean look at the Laguna Seca. The best track car Ford has produced comes with 255s up front! There has never been someone who has had their car on a track that went mmm I think that's too much tire. The biggest selling point is that the Mustang is cheaper!

I thought they stopped making Camaro's !!

Priced the mustang and camaro the way I want it comes and they are as follows. That is the GT in dark green "guard" with the track pack and recaro seats comes out to 37k. The camaro 1SS-1LE with recaro seats and the dual mode exhaust is 40.9k. Mustang has better brakes as speced.

3-4k difference is quite a bit!

Then add the tax too. MUSTANG. Guard is nice. The 6 piston brakes on PP. Same as 2014 GT 500.

With that 3-4k price difference you could get a lighter set of wheels and better tires. The only thing I don't like about the PP Is how heavy the 6 piston Brembos are compared to the 4 piston :/

Actually to be honest I wouldn't mind the new Z28. they balanced it out more

Chevy needs 7.0L to do what Ford does with 5.0L ???

apparently the Z28 beat the GTR in one youtube comparison. Not bad. I did take a look at the interiors and the mustand IS better. By a lot. With the price gap to Im leaning mustang. Just need to sell my stang!

The only thing the Mustang beats the Z/28 on is straight line acceleration. And take the 7.0 that was in the Corvette and have fun trying to keep up with it lol @ANGIE 06

Ahh poo, I guess it doesn't work like that :/

You know what just occurred to me. Do you think ford will release an updated motor for the 5.0 on the 16'? Its typical of them to release a body change then an engine change the next year (2010-4.6 / 2011-5.00

More likely u will see this in 2017/18 . I ordered my 2015 with this in mind. That 5.0 still has room for NA HP. Maybe another 15HP.....450HP NA. This engine is the new 5.0 with BOSS 302 internals that are FORGED. This engine is the improved 5.0 My 2014 has the prior version. No 5.2 L in GT. Supercharging is available for this NEW 5.0

What's up- ford 20 ! Buy the Camaro, we'll line up for Pink's in the 1/4 !

Can I use a car with that 7.0 in it? I could use the extra cash :P. Also, why limit ourselves to the 1/4, lets throw these things around a track and see what the car is really made of.

I wish I had the funds to buy a Z28 or a GT350/GT500. I'm stuck (pleasantly) with a 1SS-1LE or a GT-trackpack. I need to make a pro/cons chart but I feel like on paper they are close or an edge to the stang. The price gap is the biggest thing for me. Like mentioned before, with an extra 3-4k I could reasonable buy a set of wheels and tires which seems to be the biggest fault on the mustang. That and the Camaros shock set up seems more track prepped which is something that I like to do (autocross but close enough)

ford20 -Is there a New York Chevy site you can get on, after you spend $76k on that 2015 Z28 ?
ford20
ford20
If you are looking for a better shock setup the best I could recommend for an entry level coilover system would be the BC Racing setup. I know there are cheaper ones available out there but really that is the only one I would recommend getting. They have great valving for rebound and the CC plates are some of the among the better group you can get and will suit about 95% of the people who really need them.

Angie - I'm sure there is but I could just get a C6 Z06 and just be done with it. I mean after all we are talking about the LS7. Not so much the car that surrounds it. Then again your car isn't exactly a stock 3V now is it haha.

ford20 The Vette is the better choice over the Z28 for that kind of $
