If so, can anyone recommend which one to replace the stock with on a v6 2013.

Not a stupid question at all. Replacing your filter with a K&N filter has a few advantages. Your car will gain a very small amount of power (close to nothing), but more so you will have a better quality filter that is less restrictive. Supposedly your gas mileage goes up a little bit too but I can't say for sure, only what I have read.

Not much but it helps...I have a K&N filter on my V6 way better then the stocks ones for sure.

It does help.......Not much on gain . Can not hurt.
