What do you use for backups? Just curious cause im going into the networking field.

That's awesome that you're running on SSDs. Didn't know it how common that had become so far with server environments. I've been running SSDs on my personal PCs for a few years now and I won't look back.

Yeah my next hard drive for the operating system will definitely be an SSD

Sorry about the delay in this response. Yeah we have been running SSD for about 2 years now. It's not common at all, in fact it's the only server on the server rack that is running SSD. Only the best for NYM  Backups are done multiple times a day and are copied into multiple locations, onsite and offsite. It's a custom script along with a bunch of different cron jobs that work to back up everything from the databases to pictures.

Very nice! I've been doing local backups on my system multiple times a week but I really need to do something offsite. I have so much web development work that could just disappear if something happened to my place.

I agree with you. The thing is everything I described is for NYM's server. I take much more care of NYM's server than I do my own computer and files. I have a SSD boot drive for my home PC and a couple of drives on a RAID1 and used to run regular external backups using Acronis but I haven't in a while. I really need to start backing my stuff up again. What do you use to backup your drives?
