Ok so after checking KBB it appears it's a good price anyway. As KBB states these values for condition: Excellent- $19,762 Very Good- $19,362 Good- $19,062 and Fair- $17,812.

Those kbb prices are pretty good.. Makes me laugh when people tell me they will give me 9500 for my car... So many stupid people in the world

Not really though Todd. I thought the same thing at first, but found out after doing some research, that the 2001 Cobra is one of the most rare Cobra's. Not only that, they had very low production numbers in comparison even to the 03/04 Cobra's. And unlike the 99 Cobra's, it didn't have power issues. Also found out it had the 31 Spline half shafts just like the 03/04 do. So I guess they were pretty stout.

They also have the 03/04 style wheels, Cobra rear bumper lettering, nicer console, and the 03/04 style seats. So the only things they are really lacking is the supercharger, rear bumper & wing, and the iron block. Oh and the T-56 trans.

wheels are different, as are the seats- seats are recovered 01 bullitt seats and all consoles were upgraded in 01. But the KBB prices area optimistic. that price is about right for a 60k 01 cobra, if a bit high by a few hundred. they may be rarer, but rare doesnt mean valuable. When you can buy an 03 cobra for 21k with 32,--- miles nobody will pay 18k for a 01 with 50.

major differences- no forged shortblock, different heads, intake, halfshafts, driveshaft, seats, gauges, mirrors, spoiler, windhiseld wipers, sideskirts, springs, gearing, rear bumper, front bumper.

Half shafts are the same. Both are 31 spline as stated. You can look it up. And I wasn't talking about tiny details. Obviously we all know it's not forged. I was mostly listing major differences. We all know the terminator is the most valuable no doubt. But we also know these guys beat the piss out of them in the short length of time they drive them.
