6k is the best for vison that is the close to day light on the color scale the higher you go the more blue it get's then turns purple and it gets actually darker. I run the 6k on my truck and my stang it's by far the best for vision Ihad to buy 8k's one time cause that's all they had for replacements for the Escalade and they had a blueish tint but the visability was no where near as good as the 6K so eventually I ordered the 6K's on line and they are by far the best for function.

Going to also depend on brand and watts I had 35w 8000k HID's in the Mustang (DDM sucks they burnt out in a year). Never the less picture are in my album of how blue/white they are.
