DarkHorse16depends on your budget and what you're looking for. You want quicker get up and go or be able to plant your power you have now better?
onlycoderedI guess I'm looking for a little bit of both. I'm still trying to get rid of the wheel hop I have when launching at the track but I feel like a driveshaft would maybe be a bit more fun day to day and would maybe even improve fuel economy. Thing is I'm only planning on going to the drag strip a couple times a year so a driveshaft is probably a much more worthwhile investment. Probably just answered my own question. Hahaha
DarkHorse16well, the reason for this post is to help you decide. personally I'd do the driveshaft. Until you're pushing another good 50+hp, you won't truly realize the difference the control arms do. although hear they do wonders for daily driving too? I wanna do both of those mods too. Its such a hard decision sometimes. Do the driveshaft first.
onlycoderedYeah you're probably right. Sometimes I get worried about this driveshaft as well after seeing some of the horror stories. The slip yoke is in the very center which is naturally going to be the weakest part of a driveshaft when it comes to balance. A one-piece aluminum one will probably be a bit safer too.
DarkHorse16I personally haven't heard of any bad stories. I've only heard good things. Not to mention when the car is on the lift it looks pretty bad ass. hahaha
onlycoderedOh no I mean the stock one is a piece of crap. That's what the horror stories are from. Haha
