ROUSH 4It is a tube designed by ford, that pipes engine exhaust sound into the car. It is usually removed when adding a supercharger. You hear more of that V8. Introduced in the 2010Gt. I had it in mine . It was removed when my Whipple was installed.
ROUSH 4I do not have the part , it was discarded .
onlycoderedActually connects to the intake. I guess folks that test drove the new S197 complained about there not being enough engine sound at WOT so Ford connected a tube from the intake to the cabin. They decided not to add it in the V6 though. My exhaust is certainly loud but I love the intake sound that folks get when adding a CAI but I don't want to have to tune my PCM for an aftermarket intake. With the sound induction tube it would cost me maybe $20 and get me the sound I'm looking for without the risk of voiding the warranty on the engine due to an aftermarket tune.
