I agree with what everybody said... I also had Longtubes on my 04' GT when I had it... But I will say this... the only knock on LT's for our cars is that the cost of them + install isn't worth the power.. and it's really not, but people (myself included) do it anyway... I did mine more for sound...

I agree to do it all at once. The power part isn't true. First off, a midpipe/catback only yields you 5-6rwhp anyhow, so... I wouldn't be to worried about if im leaving 1-2rwhp on the table, for that just make sure you like the sound... The chambered mufflers actually give you a bit more low...

Was that before or after you put cams in? I have had 2 geared Mustangs... and not really 1 of them have really messed with my gas milage... 3.90 and 4.30 sets. When i drove a lot I would get 20-22 mixed highway/city driving. May also want to check your driving habits :rock:

yeah with all that extra tach that you have on the car over the 2v... gotta go with 4.30's... You will not be sorry.. and for anyone that says you lose gas milage... driving the mach 1 from florida to ny I got around 25mpg cruising..
