Nice! Good to know. Since it's an aftermarket piece, it is good for serious RPMs, right? I'm talking 8,000 or so on nitrous or N/A. How much of a difference externally are they than a stock block? Would the average Joe figure out it's aftermarket by looking at it under my hood?

The red one with black wheels is mine. The four eye is my friends and the other ones are other people's daily drivers. It's my daily for now until I fix a bike I have in my garage. Old Yamaha Radian :p

What's up? I've seen you post on various mustang forums and wanted to ask you a quick question. How much horsepower can an R302 block hold? From what I've seen it looks like 1,000+ but I can't be sure. Also, where did those blocks come from? Were they production blocks or does Ford sell...

My friends been looking for a 302, but he might be interested in this. Let me ask him.

It's personal preference at this point.... An R block will hold what you want, and so will a 351 block. Either way, I'm sure you'll be happy.

If your goals are 650 to the tire, you will be good with a 69-71 351 block. Hell, you'd probably be fine with a late model block too. Boost is more friendly on blocks than nitrous for the fact you don't spin it as high when boosting, generally. I say get a 351/408 deal from Woody and call...
