Sorry for the late reply since I'm not on here much. The MAF is a GMS. I also had a C&L on it before and it did the same thing. Just an open K&N cone air filter. MAF clocked straight up too.

No vacuum leaks. ALL grounds are clean and tight and I do mean ALL of them! LOL!

Also, does drilling a small hole in the throttle body help? I hear that was an old trick to cure this problem.

Did that too. I was told by AFM that you need to set the idle high on this cam which I did from the beginning and still had issues. I'm NOT going to run a stand alone system on this car when other people have wilder cams that I do and have no surging or idle issues. One thing I never did do was...

Yes I did. I tried just about everything. I raised my idle up to 1000 which did help a little but still surged and stalled. James

Post this on 4eyedpride. Make sure you tell them the car was totaled out by the insurance company or you will not be able to post. Parting out these cars is a sin on that site unless it has been totaled.

Same here. They are a great looking wheel. I would put them on my fox but 20" rims on a fox is not my style. They look good on all the 94 and up Mustangs. James

Another great shift knob you can find at the junkyard is a 1st gen Taurus SHO. It is leather wrapped and fits my hand perfectly. Similar to what is used in the turbo coupes but I think it is a tad bigger.
