My motive 3.90s whine, but they are a "performance cut" gearset. they also make this cut gear in a 3.73 ratio. It differs from the standard 3.73 they also make. If you happen to have this "performance cut" set, you may have an inherent whine, as opposed to standard 3.73 gears. check and see...

ive used royal purple and the stock motorcraft filter. this week im changing the oil and using Amzoil. always use the specified weight oil.
