Well my credit sucks balls, but I've decided to try for the 03 Cobra anyway. It sucks when you know you can easily afford a car financially, but the credit score is more important to these banks. At least I'll get a free test drive anyway.
Anyone have an extra key fob laying around for a 99-04 mustang? Mines junk. I know how to program it. Also how about a 4.10 speedo gear for a 5 speed GT? My speedometer is*WAY off.
Codes P1131 and P1000. Car is also stalling out and idling very low before stalling out. Also has a slapping/ ticking noise when driving, kind of sounds like squeaking when parked though. Quiets down in higher rpms though unless you stomp the throttle, then you hear it again. Any ideas? I'll upload a video too.
Anyone local know anything about brakes? My front brakes are squealing and kinda feel like they are locking up. And the ABS light is on. Sounds like the front passenger side. I've only done pads, so I don't know much about them.
Ok 2 quick questions. Do I need a bill of sale to register a car if an Affidavit was filled out? And will they let me register a car that a previous owner never had titled in their name? Both the previous seller and buyer filled it out, but previous buyer never registered the car. So how difficult is this gonna be or can I just*go in and it'll be fine? Thanks.
May still possibly trade my Cobra (due to not having the money for the tune and trip) but won't likely sell it now as I won't be having to worry about storage anymore. Putting up a garage at my buddies house very soon. :D
Might be trading for___ ______ we'll see though. I'm not in any rush. So I may just sit on it if she don't sell or go anywhere, as I'm possibly going to have storage in August.
