Yeah thats what I was afraid of. I was gonna pull the valve cover this weekend to see what I could find. If I do pull it what can I check for? Loose chain? Loose lifter? Loose valve guide?

Yes, just finished checking the manifolds and all the studs are tight and don't see any cracks. I used a stethoscope and touched the drivers side manifold and exhaust and I'm pretty sure I can hear the tick coming from them.

My 03 cobra has had an engine for quite awhile now and I can't seem to figure out where its coming from. It ticks whether the engine is cold or warm, but seems to be more noticeable when its warmed up. When the rpms increase so does the tick. You can hear it in the drivers side front wheel well...
