I'd still wrap it for two reasons. Turbo systems work off heat. By allowing the heat to dissipate, even in the downpipe, it is losing efficiency. More importantly, the law of thermal dynamics says that heat will always go to cold, NOT vice versa. So that downpipe and turbine housing WILL...

I'd probably invest in an turbine blanket. As well as use exhaust wrap on both the inlet charge pipe and downpipe. Or else that is just going to beat up the air. Or flip the intake manifold and remake the cold side. Otherwise, car looks fantastic. Hope its running great for you.
