Will make a game plan to install tonight, they will be on the car tomorrow morning :D among other good news, donations are still being collected for the Robbie Hardy fundariser. Please take some time to think about donating (any amount is acceptable). Heres the link: http://www.youcaring.com/memorial-fundraiser/friends-of-robbie-hardy/148224 Thanks again everyone! :awesomework:
well Ive got good news more good news and on the bright side more better news: I have FINALLY found OEM pony package emblems for the V6, CJponyparts. set has been ordered, I want the ON the car by next week, getting restless with add ons this year. ALSO, MPG on car is going back up finally, I was at 15 (yes its a V6 but I treat it like an 8 :D ) almost back up to 18MPG because of highway travelling. heres the more better news: The Robbie Hardy fundraiser has now crossed the $6,000 mark. Couldnt be happier to see that continue to be a huge success. If you still wish to donate, please visit this site, and again, even if its a small donation its very acceptable. Thank you all again in advance! http://www.youcaring.com/memorial-fundraiser/friends-of-robbie-hardy/148224
So now im thinking about possibly getting wheel spacers and lowering springs in order to fill wheel gaps a little more. Im happy with the way the rims look now but I think it would look better with spaces filled in. well see what happens in the fall :D ALSO, donations are still being accepted for the Robbie Hardy fundraiser. Even if its a small amount, please consider donating money. We've almosr raised $6,000 (VERY CLOSE) and were hoping to collect more donations. Dont forget to put (NYM) next to your name, if you choose to. Thanks again everyone!
THE RIMS ARE ON THE CAR. Yes, they have been installed, paid for and now its time to save money again. Also, I'm still very glad to see that the fundraising effort for Robbie Hardy has been a huge success so far. I see that we had a few NYM members donate some money, and I must thank you for who did. However, the fundraiser is not over for another 10 days and money still needs to be collected in order to help Robbie overcome future expenses while he tries to continue his education and eventually earn a job. So if you can, please think about donating, even if its a small amount, to this fundraiser in order to really help out a great person. If you do happen to donate, please put (NYM) next to your name if you choose, it would also help spreading our club name. BTW, tires are now on the rims, decided to wait a week or so to put them on. maybe some potholes will get fixed before then :D.
Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you now a sad yet urgent story/ message that hopefully you will all give some attention to. On march 8th, one of my other clubs members mother had passed away due to multiple myeloma (a cancer developed in the bone marrow and transferred throughout the body). She passed at the age of 53, leaving behind her only son, Robbie, age 19. He is now in his own, I had spoken to him today and I must say he is a very polite and humble person, not once was he ever coincided with the fundraiser, as he rather enjoyed the people he was currently with. This was only the second time I had met Robbie, but most of us have helped people we have never met. Robbie is now to pay $4000 in order to hold a wake/ funeral service along with cremation, abd posdibly collect extra funds in order to help Robbie without any other available funds. Robbie has not been able to work because he has been helping his mother around the clock, so he could really use the help. I am asking all members of NYM to help if possible in two ways: there is supposed to be a meet next Saturday, the 15th. It may be subject to change area wise but I will update this as soon as I find out. You can also help by directly donating to this online fund: http://www.youcaring.com/memorial-fundraiser/friends-of-robbie-hardy/148224 . I am both volunteering time and donating money as ways of helping Robbie through this difficult time. I can hope that most of you can do the same. Thank you in advance! I will post an event for this Saturday and continuously update it. If you happen to donate, please mark your name with (NYM) in parenthesis.

The amount of excitement I have for these new rims being installed is absolutely appauling. I WANT THEM ON NOW (along with my custom plates/ detailing/ painted spoiler) :D
Wonderful saturday night meet, over 100+ cars (all sorts). handed out a ton of NYM business cards, need to reload for next week. expect a few more members joining us :D
Well, it has been done. grand total (everything including TPM's, labor, taxes, blah blah blah, etc etc etc) is $1800. Michelin pilot AS3's (all seasons) were the way to go. For my birthday, my dad is paying half the expense which is great because im $900 in and no I need to hold a strict budget for a month or so. being that I have purchased EVERYTHING that I needed, I think I can stop spending money for a while (until I need to get the spoiler painted) but that wont be an issue.
I dont know about you guys, but the feeling of driving the mustang after the oil change...WOW...I had class at 2pm, landed fom flight at 1240, got home at 130 and booked it to class. but those straightaways on the highway didnt stand a chance :D
new side badges came in today, so I took the liberty of taking the 3.7 ones off. a lot of goo-gone, a lot of scraping. Luckily I didn't scratch the paint!! They wont go on until after detailing, so now were still on the subject of tires. Time frame is probably gonna end up in mid/ late april, LATEST EARLY MAY. So I have a birthday coming up in two weeks and a lot of time to save money. pending on which ones I get, im probably almost halfway there :D
Guys, since everything else is basically done, I need opinions for prices on sets of tires for 19" brembos. I need to check the width but of course I I would like to save some cash. Please comment with ideas. Thanks.
