Something mild honestly. I have a set of GT40 heads I am rebuilding with porting and polishing along with a GT40 intake that will be matched, perhaps a mild cam. Under 275 RWHP and the car will not see track time at all, mostly cruising time as its a vert.

Looking for a 5.0 based short block that is already rebuilt or has low mileage. Looking for something with documentation to support the rebuild or the low mileage. I am in Suffolk County but will travel a little for the right engine. Thanks.

Be sure to pick up extra loose flat foam from Michaels, AC Moore etc. I redid my 86 GT seats last year, with all new foam and leather upholstery from TMI. I pretty much did them twice as you really need to take up slack in certain spots. A LOT of trial and error, but well worth the end result...

Mike, I am also into old Mustangs as well. I will speak to my dad. A friend of his lives up in Westchester off the Taconic and does Chevy restos but also works with a guy that does Ford stuff as well. Ed
