Thinking about an Edelbrock supercharger for my 09 GT 5 sp 355 rear. Do any of you supercharged guys have any problems with wear on your clutch or transmission. It's a street car, I don't beat on it but do like to play a little. Not my dd. MGW shifter, Bassani mufflers, Steeda lower control arms.

Back in June I asked Ford about the MT 82 in the 2011--2012 GT's and the Boss. They just jerked me around. It's a shame, great engine and suspension package, POS tranny. For now will stick with my 09 GT 5spd.

Research each cars transmissions

Does the new Boss have the same assembled in China Getrag MT-82 6 spd as the 2011 GT's ? Have been hearing of a lot of problems with this transmission. Also, is it a CAGS (skip shift)? Have been drooling over the new Boss but the transmission might just be a deal breaker. Any comments?
