got the seats back in today
hope to never need it but it never hurts to have this too
also swapped out the rear leafs for new stiffer 1.5 in drop leafs
new on top old on the bottom
and I got her back on her feet after being on jackstands for 3 months, even though I have jack it back up anyway it was nice to get it out in the sun again even if it is all dusty.

so after tearing the center section out of the rear end for the third time, I found that the pinon which I bought brand new was defective, the front of the pinon was out of round and there for when I put load on the car it shifted my backlash causing the ring and pinon to bind and destroy itself. So after a phone call to jegs yesterday I had a brand new ring/pinon and bearing/install kit show up on my door step free of charge.
after a few days of sitting the rear leafs finally settled they advertise a 1.5 in drop over stock which was about right, I already had a 1 inch lowering block in addition tot eh drop leafs and I decided it wasn't low enough, my pinon angle was also off. So I made my own lowering block with the correct pinon angle out of billet aluminum. This will not only give me the correct pinon angle but also lower the car another 1/2 in or so in the rear.
in comparison to the 1" block I was running
perfect fit
although the car is still on jackstand this should be about where it will sit, just barely tucking a little tire.

Finally got the rear end squared away, and got the car back on the ground. I'm very happy with the way it sits in the back now, normally I like my cars to have a a little bit of rake to my cars but this car seems to work best leveled out. I got a call from total control products and my coilovers will be shipping out on Friday after being on back order for 8 weeks.So hopefully I can get them in before the show next weekend.
