Just had installed a Ford Racing 4.10 gear on my 09 GT 5sp. (Ford Racing install kit from American Muscle) The stock gear was a 3.55. Installed a Steeda rear upper adjustable control arm at the same time. Hope I didn't make a mistake changing two variables at once. Have a very slight thunk when shifting gears or if I take my foot off the gas and then get back on the gas. My mechanic wants me to take it easy for the first 500 miles and then will change the oil and tighten it up, add, move a shim. The car has 9700 miles on it and is tight, no other squeaks, rattles or clunks. MGW shifter,Steeda lower control arms and underdrive pulley, Steeda CAI, Ford Racing 62mm throttlebody, BAMA 93oct per tune, Bassani axel back,Steeda strut tower brace. Anybody have any thoughts on the rear gear ?
