I have the 427 up and running in my 95 GT. Pulled the sprout, set base timing and it runs fine, but idles like crap. Other guys tell me 95's always idle bad after modifications. Where can I go to get a chip burnt? Would a 95 Cobra R ecu help?
Why the old school V-belts?? How is the MAF setup now?? Any more recent pics?? If you run it with no filter on the MAF it will run like crap. Try changing the clocking of the MAF too.
232/242 @.050, V belts because I had the set up + the're simple. It will have the air filter. I'm just running it up on blocks in the garage, the car isn't assembled yet.
Only 30lb injectors. That set up is gonna fall flat after 2500rpms. You will need to upgrade them before you waste money on a tune. That thing should rip! I know they have all their power down low, but you need to get bigger injectors ASAP! Nice set up. Lets see more pics!
He can get away with the 30lbers for 400-425 hp using stock fuel pressure, I'd say a 36,39, or 42 would be better in the long run depending but you would have to log injector duty cycle.
Heres a co uple pictures. This is my first attempt at an EFI car so I am on a learning curve. I am an "old guy" who has built a lot of cars, but all with carburetors. 400 hp works for me, I built the motor and want to to spin the tires once in a while and have some fun with it. Any help is appreciated. I have to believe someone has burned a chip for this type setup, something generic.
