Can the head of a 2v be removed with the motor in the car or are the head studs to long? I haven't really come across too much about this except one small post where they said the motor has to come out.

Anyone have any info on this?

the head will come off with the motor in the car

if you are still using ford head bolts the heads will come off with the motor in it

Good to know I herd it was better to take out the engine so I guess this would be a little cheaper right

it is a lot easier to remove the engine but the heads can be taken off with the block still in the car

Sweet, glad I don't have to fight to get this motor out. If I had the right tools dropping the motor is pretty easy but I don't.
