Default Electric water pump

I want to get an electric water pump for my 5.0 and i was wondering if i can keep my A/C or not. Is there a special shorter belt? Does anyone have any pics of a set up on a 5.0? Summit had a ProForm pump for under 200$. Lemme know. Thanx

well i bought it, and its still in my garage, lol i would suggest against this for a street car there is no need for it, you need to run a different belt, I know if i ran a E pump i would've had to fab up some bracket to keep Power steering, i already dont have AC so. wasn't an issue for me, i think i have a pic of mine mocked up, but thats it.. i will find it.

Thanx for the info. Ill just get the electric fan and get rid of the old spinner to free up some resistance. That will clean up the look under the hood a bit too. Thanx!

Meziere Electric water pump Mounts just like a stock pump. Even has a pulley on it, so you don't have to run any different belt setups on it. I use this pump on my racecar. I bypassed the pulley and went with just a belt for the alt and crank pulley. I also moved my Alternator over to the drivers side of the car. Because the alt would sit right by the Turbo and I was affraid that the heat would kill it.
