So here it is guys, as everyone knows, i sold the 88 and got this 93 GT with a Vortech supercharger (which is all new to me). What alot of you do not know, is i also bought "another" mustang which is going to be built for just the track, which no one will see till its done.
So i have decided to build this 93 more towards show instead of go. Over the winter the engine bay will be getting a facelift, everything on the car is pretty solid, the body and undercarriage is in awesome condition, no need for work there. I want to get the engine bay fixed up to my liking and get the interior back to looking bone stock (getting rid of all the billet chrome handles, door knobs, switches and such. I want to get new seats as the seats are ok but a little worn, the carpet and interior molding are good, only thing i need to replace is the weather strips.
So here it goes, i will be pulling the engine out, cleaning up the old engine bay and spraying it with the color code on the body to match, once that is done, i will be ordering a set of Scott Rod panels again and putting those in, painted to match of course. Once the engine is dropped back in, we will be hiding all the wires and cleaning it up so its very clean looking.
On to the engine, i will not be messing to much with this, the car runs to good now to mess with it, i want to replace the old stock intake with a new TrickFlow trackheat intake (in black), replace the plastic elbow on the supercharger piping and match it with good satin finish elbow, replace the cheap blow off and put a good Vortech blow off on, replace the throttle body with a new shinny one and upgrade the fuel rails from stock to Vortech rails. All the trim on the engine will be chrome or black for that sinister look. I will also be upgrading the ignition system to a MSD or Mallory system and adding a air to air intercooler for the supercharger and also relocating the battery to the rear hatch with a nice new battery box. The 2013 build is more for looks then anything, with the "other" car in the works, all the go will get put into that car. Hope it turns out good, i should get started on this around December or January, im trying to keep this low budget and just for looks, no need to get crazy like my other builds on this car
Here are some pics of the current set-up, i will update this thread as we start and through the build, hope its all done for the spring of 2013, around April or May.
