01 GT gets T56 Magnum kit n Build rear end n install

Hey everyone so i dropped off the stang the other week cause i picked up a t56 Magnum trans kit from D&D performance comes with trans ,quick time bell housing, McLeod rxt twin clutch n a shorten new drive shaft, kit does not include throw out bearing or adjustable Pivot ball,witch u need n D&D performance does not say u need.I also had Matt from Realspeed order me up Moser 31 spline axels n posi rear locker n 373 gears. While Rob the installer n great mechanic was installing everything he noticed 1. no adjustible pivot ball n 2. the clutch was too high, so we had to order a low profile clutch from McLeod witch took them 4 days to build n adjustible pivot ball n now it's in the mail n will be there at realspeed next week.i can't wait I hope we don't hit anymore delays smh I'll keep this updated as it goes. I wouldn't go anywhere else to do this job guys.:mechanic:

Your car is getting some Real(speed) love this spring. Clutch "should" arrive on Tuesday.
We will be shooting some pictures of the install to let everyone see how all these sick parts look
when they are all wrapped up and ready to get abused by that Kenne Bell Mammoth of yours! :p

I just put a t56 magnum in my 04 gt in September. I love it. After the break in don't use Pennzoil synchromesh like many places recommend. Its very notchy when cold. The dex III I used to break it in felt so much nicer.

I still need to find some time to flush it and put the dex III back in.

Hey thanks that's good to know I'll look into that , did u hav any problem installing the trans or was it a quick install for you?

Update, so I had D&D performance order the other clutch n Adjustible pivot ball from McLeod all payed in full, that was needed to finish my car, well clutch arrived on Tuesday BUT without the damn pivot ball uhh delayed again, called D&D again n they said joe didn't put the whole order in so now I end up paying $75 for over nite shipping cause they didn't order it for me before, amazing lol but all good pivot ball arrived the next day wensday so now to let Rob n realspeed staff do there magic I can't wait...

UPDATE: so pivot ball arrived on wensday so on Friday Rob goes to start installing the clutch n pivot ball n notices mcloud didn't send the bolts needed to install the clutch, DELAYED AGAIN uhh :pissed:,so I had Matt order up some ARP bolts on fri n paid over nite shipping for Saturday arrival n see if Rob can get things going for me so I can get my stang back, cause i hav no wheels I guess will see what happens:confused::idk::mechanic:

Yeah thanks man like they say when it rains it poors smh I can't seem to get a break on missing parts or getting all parts ordered at the same time lol now I got all the parts needed now time is of essence I'm hopping there will be enough time to finish my car this week so wish me luck:(
Oh hey car is making 600 rwhp 549 tq thanks to Realspeed Rob for putting the engine in n to Dan for tuning it.:mechanic::stang5:

Hey what's up Waldo, i hope so it's been a long rough start with all the delays n missing parts n over nite extra $ for nothing sucks u know...fellas I won't be at any of the meets this weekend realspeed Dan is racing this weekend so no work on my car till next week I'll see everyone then I'll make a meet n cruise when I'm all done with my in stall see everyone soon hav fun this weekend.:evil::headbang:

Very nice numbers! Gotta love a boosted 2v making cobra numbers!

And like the other guy said, you're going to love it. I have 3.73's and it was such a killer having to shut down at 130mph with the 3650. That new 5th gear is so worth it! I've had mine pulling strong all the way to 170 until I ran out of room and had to shut her down.

Thanks alot Danny I've always wanted to Build my 2v from scratch n finally did it 2v 323 bigbore boss block ported TFH n stage 2 custom blower cams n 2.6 KB gave me the num# I wanted to hav.im glade that 5th gear n tranny is working great for u I'm excited to feel the same thing as u satisfaction n excitement lol.i hope to see u at an event soon Danny.:headbang:

Now that the mechanicals have all been taken care of, you just might! Haha. I'm finally finished, as long as I can hold myself back at least, with modding my car.

Forged rods, pistons, crank, bolts, studs you name it. Built rear and the magnum. E85 and a vortech jt trim with trick flow heads and CMS stage 3 cams..... I'm at 688/565. Its a fun car. Can't wait to take it to the track and see what the new found power on e85 can do.

I spend more of my free time at tracks than I do car shows/meets lately though.

hey felas,
just a quick question from someone who is not mechanically inclined at all.
if you are building these big hp motors, .... changing the blocks, heads, pistons, cranks etc....
and putting big blowers on them, why would you still keep it a 2 valve.
Wouldnt it take less effort and $ to get more power from a 4 valve?
