In 1980 I bought a 1968 Mustang. Red with Black interior, 302 4V, full console. It was mint It was my first car. I sold it in 1989. I happen to have much of the paperwork (bill of sale etc.) including the Vin number. As the years went by, I have owned many cars including many Porsches, Ferrari's and Lamborghini. I know how important it is to have some of the old paperwork. I would love to give it to the current owner, but I don't know how to find out if the car is still around. Better than that, I would rather buy my old car back. Really for sentimental reasons. Don't know if the guy who bought it from me (don't have his info) still has it, but he had a few Mustangs, At that time I lived in Rosedale, New York. The Vin Number is: 8R01J170251.
Any help or a direction on how to locate it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
In 1983 I bought a Mustang GT. I sold that car to a guy in Rosedale. Don't remember who. I also have some of that paperwork too (bill of sale etc.). That car was red with red interior, hatchback. It had the rare 4 speed. I bought it at Able Ford in Dec. 1983. The Vin number is: 1FABP28F3Df134146. Any info on that car would be greatly appreciated. I had both at the same time This GT stock did a 7.0 second 0-60 which in 1983 was faster than the Porsche 911 SC, and the Ferrari 308. Funny, but today that would be what most mini vans do 0-60. But I was able to spin those tires for many yards!!
