Wondering if anyone here has messed at all with their stock head units? I'm on a 2012 premium gt, and I think all 2010+ mustangs radios+AC use the same circuit board behind the faceplate. I was wondering if anyone had successfully relocated their "stock" head unit to hook up a iPad/Tablet in their dash? I would prefer to fabricate a new faceplate and push the controls/board or relocate them. Just wondering what my options were. I can't justify the pricetag of the OEM electronics package when I already have a tablet I'm willing to use.
