    Had a friend who has a 2004 F 150,4.6 did the same thing. He drove over 3,000 miles and it would not reset,ended up being a coil pack with moisture around the spark plug boot that messed up the coil pack! The truck ran fine just would not reset for inspection. Changed the coil pack and it reset...
