Honestly if I were you I'd go with a set of 3.73 gears to tide you over until you have the 5.0, unless you aren't planning on keeping the V6 for the next 3+ years. I just got a V6 and I plan to do just 3.73s, axle-back exhaust, CAI, and a tune and I'll leave it at that until I can afford the 5.0.
