69 Coupe progress pics
After being away from working on the Mustang for a couple days tending to family issues I was back at it today & did a little more welding on the r/s quarter skin, & finished welding in the wheel opening from the quarter skin to the outer wheel house.- Mike65

help with engine issue
Check to make sure you do not have a vacuum leak. Unhook all the vacuum lines & cap off all the ports & see how it runs. You could also spray some carb cleaner around the base of the carb at the manifold while it is running & see if it smooth's out.- Mike65

It is starting to look like a car again. I got the quarter skin welded to the tail light panel filler panel, the "B" pillar, the trunk drop off, & where the quarter skin meets the rocker panel. I have about 1/2 of the wheel opening welded to the outer wheel house, & started welding the quarter...- Mike65

First time buyer, what to ask/checkout on a 65
Justin first of all welcome to NYM. As far as what to check 1) check the cowl, pour water in the outside air vent between the wipers & see if it leaks inside the car. If it does this is a big job to repair. 2) Check the front frame rails for any rot. 3) Check the rear frame rails especially...- Mike65

Well here is what I have been doing for the last 3 hours. I finished welding the support structure back to the wheel house seam, & started welding in the r/s quarter skin. I have it mostly welded in the door jamb, & back at the tail light panel filler, & a couple spots in the wheel opening, & a...- Mike65

testing my one speed wiper motor
Good idea on the bezel removal tool. I had made one from an old deep socket. I ground down two of the sides of the socket about 1/4" & it fit nicely in the bezel & worked very well.- Mike65
